The Forth Bridge over Firth of Forth in Queensferry, Scotland, United Kingdom. Monumental cantilever railway bridge from 1890 over the Firth of Forth estuary in east of Scotland, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bridge spans the Forth between the villages of South Queensferry and North Queensferry with total length of 8,094 feet (2,467 m) and double track elevated 150 feet (45.72 m) above the water, this famous landmark was the first major structure in Britain to be constructed of steel.
